30-micron aluminium foil tape coated with a long-lasting, ultraviolet resistant acrylic adhesive on one side. Supplied in 120mm width by 45m long rolls. Seals joints between cavity barriers / firestops, and reduces smoke leakage and moisture penetration. Siderise RFT120 Jointing Tape is a highly specified aluminium foil tape for use where long life, great adhesive strength or ultra violet resistance is required and is used to seal joints between adjacent units of Siderise cavity barriers and fire stop systems. RFT120 also provides additional resistance to the spread of smoke. Siderise RFT120 has been applied to Siderise cavity barriers and firestops in multiple fire resistance and reaction to fire tests including EN 1364-4, EN 1366-4, BS 8414, NFPA 285 and BS 476-20. Depending on the Siderise cavity barrier or fire stop system, RFT120 can be used to help maintain up to 300 minutes integrity at joints.
